Club Sadowsky!!!

I wonder if this is the nature of 24 fret 5 string neck? I am in the middle contemplation stages of actually ordering "my" NYC.

If that feel is exclusive to the 24, I can see me ordering another modern with more of a vintage tone circuit.

My thoughts right now is a modern alder w/ quilt, vintage tinted clear, RW FB and big singles in the 60s position. Modern look. Vintage tone.

I ordered mine (last month) with BS in 60's position and vintage tint as well.
But mine will be an ash/morado Vintage 5 string in CAR with the 1 3/4" nut width :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

about the FB: I thought if it's good enough for Uncle Will, it should be good enough for me as well!
My PJ has a brz board though ;).

Happened my friend wanna change all black hardware from his NYC bass into gold, so I took the advantage and install them on my MV5 plus order one Matte Black pg / black control plate to go with it..... Here you go my Stealth Sadowsky....

I must apologize to fuzzbass for the unintentional deletion of the F.Bd. photo from my photobucket. Keep forgetting how that works. Sorry bro.
B.

No problem, I've just become a Photobucket n00b and am trying to get the hang. Speaking of which, I've just uploaded some better pix of my Braz board... sorry for the img spam, but I hope one of these shows that there are reddish hues along with brown and black.

^

is that a white or a mint PG?

I am asking because I ordered my Vintage 5 in CAR as well. I really like the contrast on yours.

Yes, it's hard to tell in photos, but mine is CAR/mint. I love it. :)

Here's another photo. Because the pearl white bass is included, the subtle hue of the mint guard might show a little better.

Here's two of my Braz. The first pic is from 2003 braz and the second is 2010 braz. The old one is much darker with not much grain to show. Looks a lot like the braz board one my old fenders. The newer one as more grain and red coming out.

Now can you tell which one, if any, is master grade?

I think the master grade upcharge is a VERY recent one, as there wasn't any late 2008 when I ordered mine.

Well I don't care if any is master grade (if there is any).
Looks wise I prefer the second!

THIS is gorgeous rw! Good photo Ken. I wonder why mint comes out so white in photos. Have seen very few true "mint" colouring in pics.

I think I have just about made up my mind for my new NYC order.

I am getting either a Will Lee 4 or a Vintage 4 with the Will Lee neck shaping.

Either way, alder/mad. RW, matching headstock, antique shoreline gold.

Price is basically the same, so I was trying to think of any reason not to go with the full WL (only differences would be the mid boost and hipshot).

I was thinking blocks, but hate to tack on that much more cash!

LOOK what I found in my inbox!!! - Thanks Kevin!
"It's been a slice"!

Chambered ash P body w/ ash top, 59 burst, mint PG.
