LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the candy orange! Might be my fav opaque finish.
No matching HS? You can never get enough candy orange!!!
Considered it; however, based on Kevin's recommendation and seeing a mapleFB w CAO headstock while at the shop I agreed that it doesn't quite work (for me) with the maple FB. I really wanted the maple FB so the matching headstock went bye-bye (saved some money too).

Love the finish and the maple fretboard!!!
IMO you did the right thing. Maple boards with matching stocks have never looked right to me. Love 'em with RW or ebony though.
Your bass looks awesome. Just to be difficult, I'd like to see it with a mint guard...
