I actually posted about it a while back, but didn't make a big deal of it so it probably got missed. I sold these two:

The reason is, the two below satisfy all of my 21-fret JJ/PJ desires, and I just figured it'd make more sense for me to combine "fancy" with 24-frets to cover the more "modern" thing. Essentially, I'm blending the two above into one bass. I always said I loved that 24-fret JJ metro enough that if I ever sold it, it'd only be to replace it with the NYC version with a top, so that's what's up.

In case I was too subtle, Vic and I did what seems to be our bi-annual I-55 road side meeting Saturday.
This bass and I seem to be getting along very well so far. It seems to have a lot of "life." Plays like a dream.

I did see that. Since I ordered Antique Shoreline Gold (more silvery/champagne in color) with a parchment pickguard on my new build, I am thinking about getting a tort guard for my Frost Gold NYC that I have now. I just love that combo!

I love the Sadowsky flats, great tone, great feel and the right tension. do yourself a favor and try them.
BIG +1! I switched about 4 years ago to Sadowsky Flats and never looked back. Best Flats out there in my opinion...at least for me anyway...

Me too. I love these flats! No need to try anything else. I just have to learn how to string em up properly.

UGH!!! would look at that studded belt! It's kinda like when Randy Jackson was playing Dragonbass's bass. I just cringed when I saw Randy wearing that jacket with all of the metal on it.
