Almost died laughing when I saw that...thanks everyone! I'm so thrilled right now...however, I have to wait about a month for it LOL i'm shipping it to my GF who's in the US right now and I visit her in May for graduation, so i'll grab it then

With that "fancy pants" top and maple fretboard, it takes it right out of vintage style and into modern.

Just got my bass from my luthier.. The Sadowsky SC's are monsters! Very open tone than the HC's and the grind is perfect!
Took the PG off the new (to me. thanks again Vic) MV524 to make a tracing. It only confirms my thoughts that a 24-5 with standard 60s JJ setup is one hot bass.

Years ago there was a PJ 5 with a quilt top, rosewood fingerboard (do't recall the body wood) and gold hardware that haunts me to this day.
