Bingo. I'm still careful with both Red and Whitey.

Once Blackie acquired a few dings I stopped covering my belts, and the result is re-posted below. That wear doesn't bother me at all: it's mostly on the back, it's only cosmetic, and I will never sell that bass so resale value is irrelevant.

I don't think I'll ever sell Red or Whitey either, but I'm gonna try to keep 'em looking new for as long as I can: first ding is the worst. Fact is I often play on cramped stages with enthusiastic singers, so we'll see how long that lasts!

As Vic alluded to, all that really matters is what *you* think. But you're asking, so I will tell you that I like it a lot, and I also think it's very cool that you followed through once you decided you wanted a matching headstock.

It wasn't cheap. Shipping was more expensive then the job.
I'm really happy with it.

Now I can't play with it because I'm busy looking at it.

Hummmm Maybe I could play in front of a mirror. Forget about it, I'm not 15 anymore.

I'll look at it today and play with it tomorrow. That's the adult thing to do.

Here is my new RV4.

I have always liked black Jazz basses. Must be a birth defect or something. Anyhow, my wife says it looks like all my other basses. Fine with me.

Like all other Sadowsky basses, this bass does it.

This is my first 4 string Sadowsky; and quite honestly although I understood a long time ago that Roger knew a lot about the early Jazz basses, that point was really driven home with this one. Placed next to my '62, it is clear Roger took off a little here and added a little there to make the instrument work better.

The shop was its usual greatness shipping me the tort guard and de-tuner instantly. Took me about 10 minutes last night to put them on.

God bless you, your staff, and your shop(Japan as well), Roger. We're lucky to have all of you around. Thanks.
