My CAR Vintage BS 5 string
WoW! It was your bass being built by Rob! The Candy Apple Red looks really really nice! Its going to be a HOT one!
Gotta get another 24-5. Worst move EVER, selling that bass last summer.
I went last week but was in a bit of a hurry, as always they were very nice!!! Went to buy a D-Tuner and strings for my Metro. Tried the Will Lee #5801:

I have no connection with this auction, but this buckeye maple top'ed 24 frets is absolutely amazing looking!
btw, I guess it is not the recent #5832 we saw from earlier post.

It's listed as literally new/unopened, but still, I agree. I haven't actually priced it out, but that does even seem like it might be above the actual new price, which is just never going to happen.Nice bass, the price seems a bit ambitious.
The dude totally screwed up the ad. He simply copied the specs from 5832 which is similar to the bass shown, but not the same... e.g. no face dots, but face dots clearly pictured.I'm confused as to how the serial numbers could be the same? Honest mistake?
Would you be able to share the actual specs of that bass? The seller and the bass are legit. The serial number is wrong.
He ordered it for a customer of his in Brazil and the deal fell through.

I know it's an "RV5" model (his main amber-quilt w/ tort pickguard, black hardware) but I swear somewhere it had the morado fretboard option so just curious there.
And tonally, how does that compare to maple?
