Club Sadowsky!!!

Hi Everyone,

We have started a YouTube Channel for SadowskyGuitars. We just got a Zoom HD recorder and will upload new videos as we have them.

If anyone knows of any really good videos on YouTube that showcase Sadowsky instruments, please send me a link so I can consider if they should be added to the "Favorites" section.

Thanks.

Roger

The Zoom recorder seems of good quality. Nice job and I am already a Chuck Loeb fan.

Steely Dan's 'Home At Last'. The first time I heard that song I was 16 year's old with a lot of hair making pizzas part time at a local Italian restaurant and said "I really like these guys". Memory flood.

Good idea on the YouTube channel and keep the videos coming!

I'll add a +1 to that. Sounds great Ken!

Shucks, thanks Joey.

On that note: Roger, many Sadowsky Club members are great players, but YouTube recommended Joey's demo right after I uploaded my first (the Sadowsky connection, of course). It stuck with me not just because it was first, but because his playing is amazing. And he's wearing the t-shirt to boot. :)

Edit: I see you've already added Joey's video to your favorites. Nevermind! :hiding:

Roger,

I think you mentioned a breakdown of the years based on Metro numbers in an earlier Sadowsky Club thread. If you have a chance, would love to see the breakdown again. Thanks!

Greg

Metro Serial Numbers:
2004 M100-M440
2005 M400-M1050
2006 M1010-M1670
2007 M1600-M2100
2008 M2100-M2970
2009 M2900-M3970
2010 M3971-M4830

That would make a great FAQ (along with NYC #'s) somewhere in the Sadowsky website...

I agree whole-heartedly. I've knocked myself out before trying to figure out those time periods.

I WILL SAY.. Roger's website is simply the best. Just the fact that he maintains the database of all of the basses sold. With the incredible HD photos and the pertainent data. That is a major thumbs up for those efforts as well as being very much appreciated. THANK YOU, Roger!

Back when I was in his shop in 2008, Roger showed me the serial number log book and actually showed me the entry of my 1988 Sadowsky Standard. Had the serial number and the description. How cool is that!

Kevin Drexler gets all the credit for the website!!

Rulyongo, I see you are from Carolina PR, my parents lived in Country Club Carolina PR. I need to get out to the island soon, have not been there in 8 years. My parents moved back to the states 10 years ago. Sorry to get off topic. Now back to your interesting question which I answered above. Let's see what others say.

What made you go the SADOWSKY route?
