Club Sadowsky!!!

Holy Diver has some killer bass tone! Bet the Sadowsky nails it!

... I remember, in a rehearsal for a Dio tribute I used to play, I tried a bunch of basses, and when I plugged in the Sadowsky, the guitar player told me that I HAD to use ONLY that bass for the gigs. He said that he had never heard a better bass sound!!!...

Okay, I'll try not to keep throwing videos up here, but I can't help sharing this because it's not "Mustang Sally". :D I shot a few on Saturday night, and instead of being bass-focused they're a pretty good representation of the band (though bass is still up front). Yeah, the arrangements are a wee bit self-indulgent, but hey, it's a hobby and the point is to have fun. Rockin' a Sadowsky makes these bar gigs a LOT of fun for me, and I hope that's apparent! I had extra tube juice smeared on that night, but that's how I sometimes roll.

I'll link to the Billy Preston tune, and if you're curious you can check my channel for "Vehicle" and "Born Under a Bad Sign" (better version than last time).

Ken, as always, solid playing and killin' tone. Love the vids.:bassist:

Groovy:)

Cool, thanks for the comments. :) I know I'm preaching to the choir, but a Sadowsky bass makes gigging so much easier. If I'm not in the mix, it's because I'm dropping notes... the Sadowsky is always there!

P.S. Jim, this is the only guitar that's ever made me drool:

Yeah, that seems to happen whenever I use roundwounds. :ninja: There was more purr than growl when I strung her with flats. :D She sounds wonderful either way, but I'm still not used to the feel of flats under my fingers. I envy players who have the magic touch on flatwounds... yeah, I'm lookin' at you, Blair!

I'm feeling the same way about rounds. I've had them on my PJ for a week and although I like their tone (different than flats) I've gotten so used to the feel of flats under my fingers that the rounds feel...'weird'. Needless to say the Sadowsky flats are back.
