I'm saving up for my own version of either this one, or the PJ5-24 similar to it as a reward for getting my first full time music gig. I'm a big fan of that combo-between the flame, color, and guard, it practically calls my name.

My logic is to add a NYC more traditional looking/sounding bass to compliment my Metro 5-24....in other words, because I want one. We'll see how long it takes me to save up for it though.

Congrats Ivan she's a beauty! Pretty much my fav,finish natural on a ash body and a tort guard! How good looking is that!! BTW is that a Brazilian board? Looks really nice! :)

IIRC, Roger still does the trueing of all the fingerboards.

Thanks, but alas, it's not for me. It was a picture they sent me before they banned the export of Braz. rosewood. I will get an amazon rosewood board now. You can find a pic of it here:
