Got creative tonight....

YEP! That is a Tone King Metropolitan guitar tube head. I do not have a bass tube head and I would like one. We scaled this back to 20W and did some adjustments with the bass (passive was best) and it all sounded pretty killer!

FINALLY took some nice pics outside with the best camera I could find (which, funny enough is an iphone 4 ). I just did a complete hardware swap from chrome to black and I must say, I'm luvin' this look much more (They did suggest I go with black first but oh well, stubborn me).

Also just got some Sadowsky flats...WOW these strings with this bass might just make me a flats-only type of guy, even the slap tone sounds great (the first flats i've ever used that had a slap tone I like). These are the standard set, I'm wondering if anyone tried the light set before and if it's a very noticable difference in tension? I like light strings so just curious...these are pretty decent in tension for my tastes.

Tried it in two very different groups yesterday: A brass ensemble (there are no good tuba players here so they got me instead) and in the backup band of a Smooth Jazz/R&B type saxophonist...seriously, this is BY FAR the most versatile AND most comfortable bass I've ever laid hands on.
