Great kitty pic! My cats get that same glazed-eyed, deer in the headlights look when I start changing strings too. They LOVE to play with the old ones.

Thanks guys! Yep that's a Streamliner and Bergantino AE212.
The signal chain on that is P bass into my pedalboard into a Reddi and I think at that show it was going into a UA LA610 which our sound guy tours with and uses it mostly for vocals but sometimes puts it on bass.
Expensive studio style chain for sure but on gigs where I use a more conventional setup, that bass still sounds slamming.

Limeman said:Ahhh... I see you have a REDDI in your signal chain... I gigged with my REDDI for the first time today and the tone absolutely slammed. I almost shut down my amp and just used the floor monitors, it was really that good with my Sadowsky. Sweet!!!![]()

J. Brooks said:Oh yeah the Reddi is unreal. In the studio, the Reddi into any decent pre is great. I recently got the chance to put it into a Neve 31102 console into an La2a and it was one of the most beautiful bass sounds I've ever heard.
Thanks Fran. I've gathered a pretty great collection of pedals in the past few years.
This was my pedalboard from that show:

Since then, I've replaced the OCD with a Darkglass B3k and added an Iron Ether Nimbus, both of which are just insane. I use the Nimbus so much now, it is on more often than not actually.
Nice board. I'm curious: how does the Sadowsky pre play with the Oxide pedal? I've found that it works great with the Malekko B:assmaster and Prunes & Custard but not so great with others like the depth charge or woolly mammoth. (Too much clipping.)
The Oxide, Xero, and B3K are definitely on my list.

Here's some Sadowsky + Iron Ether stuff. Check description for settings. Some clips have Sadowsky basses but passive. The Oxide is a hot pedal, but I haven't had any issues with it when combining it with the Sadowsky in active mode.

No wear spots , I think it was before they started doing that , the strings are DR's nickel , round wounds , I usually use the Sadowsky blue nickel's was out of them then and I like when they deaden up a bit , love the bass and it is cool to see another , I think Ricky Minor has one tooWow sounds amazing. What a great bass. Does yours have wear spots? what kind of strings are on there in the video? I use blue nickels on mine.

I'm not sure if this is allowed here because this is a sample song from a for sale DVD but I wanted to share with you guys a cool video of my Sadowsky in action. It's currently on the homepage of our website. To be clear, I'm not trying to get anyone to buy the DVD or plug the band but I think the bass sounds and looks cool on this and was excited to share.

Do you guys ever come north to play?
J. Brooks said:Thanks man, I appreciate that. Not sure where you mean by north, we haven't been to Canada yet, we've only toured around the US so far.
roadkill2309 said:Canada; the official north.
