I tried to be in TO this weekend for a certain leadership convention, but I couldn't afford it on the end. If I'd gone, I was going to look you up do I could meet that pretty bass in your avatar.
Last night I played my first gig without my RV4 that got stolen last week. I took my Geddy Lee Jazz. It's decent bass but I struggled with it all night, it just doesn't respond as effortlessly like my Sad. Next time I'll just bring the MV5.
Since I'm in the market now to replace my lost 4 string, anyone looking to unload a NYC vintage 4? Something ultra light weight would be really ideal. I'll be watching the classifieds for just the right thing to come up.

There's a sweet vintage 4 in the classifieds right now with wavy maple top for $3200, but that's a lot to spend unless maybe you fudged the insurance claim a bit.

Yeah, I saw it...super nice, but not really into the burl maple. I'd take a flame or quilt but that's about it when it comes to fancy tops.

Great tones on both videos, Craig. Loved, the ending jazz tones. I'm pretty stoked about trying a Sadowsky outboard with my Lindsey jazz. Hopefully they'll have more in stock soon.
