Thank You Craig. All is good at present here in Toronto. I don't want to turn this into the weather channel but we had a couple days close to 80 degrees F lately & now it's gonna freeze again tonite. Go figure  It's Canada - eh.

I tried to be in TO this weekend for a certain leadership convention, but I couldn't afford it on the end. If I'd gone, I was going to look you up do I could meet that pretty bass in your avatar.

Last night I played my first gig without my RV4 that got stolen last week. I took my Geddy Lee Jazz. It's decent bass but I struggled with it all night, it just doesn't respond as effortlessly like my Sad. Next time I'll just bring the MV5.

Since I'm in the market now to replace my lost 4 string, anyone looking to unload a NYC vintage 4? Something ultra light weight would be really ideal. I'll be watching the classifieds for just the right thing to come up.

Oh well - it rained all day Saturday anyway. Wait until you get yours & bring it along.

Good luck with that. I can imagine how tough it must be without that ol' friend to speak with on stage.

There's a sweet vintage 4 in the classifieds right now with wavy maple top for $3200, but that's a lot to spend unless maybe you fudged the insurance claim a bit. :smug:
