Club Sadowsky!!!

Almost my dream bass... Just not sure about that soap-bar in the bridge position? It looks "off" to me from an aesthetic pov. I would greatly prefer a standard J in there.
My 2 cents...
I'd say it looks "different", but honestly, I'm betting the first P/J did too, back in the day... even moreso than this config as the first (as far as I know) truly mixed pickup config.

My thought is, it'd have a fatter sound, which might pair REALLY well with the naturally fatter sounding P pickup. If I was in the market at all for a new "P/J style" bass, I'd have this one on the way already. :)

Variation on the theme

Bluesy.

You really need this Red 5 str Bass to match your red 4 str Bass.

La la la la la la.....(fingers in ears) not listening....la la la la...:p

For what it's worth, I'm on hiatus. My guitarist quit. Or am I fired? Whatever. Of course, this means no more music supplies are required/necessary. :crying:

By the way,

Is it me or this headstock looks awesome? the nicer logo, the darker tint, the well worn look...How can I make my headstock looks as great as this without waiting for another 20 years of gigs.

This bass was my favourite from the stock update this week. Lucky for us Fran that we can't get this one shipped to Europe because of the Brazilian rosewood!

Sorry about your guitarist. Hang in there, this might well open the door to a better project! However, there is no such thing ad "no more music supplies required/necessary"!!! ; )

I'm okay with it, but I think that's because I got used to the big bridge pup idea by admiring the Fender deluxe P that had the double-J-looking pup in the bridge position.

However: I still say that, for me, an NYC Sad has to have a fancy top.
