Club Sadowsky!!!

Hopefully it will be here next week...

97, Alder, morado, HC's. No VTC or D-Tuner, but both of which will be taken care of within a week or two after I get it.
And that black pick-guard......buh bye! Needs a pearl white of something.
I was actually thinking tort might look cool on that, or maybe even just a plain parchment? I would wonder if an actual white one might be a bit too "bright" tho pearl could be cool. Maybe even black pearl? Anyway, just some thoughts... I've seen some old Fenders with a similar color and tort and thought it looked really classic/cool.

I need to find someone to photoshop up a few options.
But I'm thinking parchment or bling it up with white pearl.
I'm not sure tort would look good as it's just orange and not salmon-ish.

Hello,
I thought since here is the area where anything Sadowsky's is happening, it might be the right place for this:

I'm looking for a used Sadowsky Modern M5-24 white (oly/trans…).

If you see/hear of anything, it would be much appreciated!

Thank you

M

A super dirty quick photoshop resulted in Parchment and Gold anodized as the best options. But the parchment made it look real yummy - like an orange creamsicle ice cream bar!!!

Tort would look real good....I have an 2012 fender select(#36 of first 100 made with official fender cert!) that is amber burst but looks pretty orange in person. Anyway, it had a white pickguard and got tired of looking at it so I put a black one on and at first really liked it bit the more I looked at it , it reminded me of a Halloween bass....yikes. Anyway I put the tort guard on I robbed from my mia standard sunburst jazz and it looks like its staying. The black guard on my sunburst looks cool, too.

And yeah, Halloween bass.....good only for about one week out of the year...LOL!!!

If I could just interrupt to show off a little....one of my bands had the privilege of opening up for Foreigner the other night, here's a couple videos.

Yes, we're a cover band - 70's/80's arena rock type stuff. And according to the local promoter dude who booked us, not only we were the only opener on this whole Foreigner tour but in their 5 years of putting on shows at this venue no opener has ever got the crowd on their feet. So, we're kinda excited about it. :hyper:

Played my MV4. My onstage rig was delicious - SWR IOD/Stewart 2.1/Berg NV425. The house got my Sansamp BDDI, so the killer sound on stage was purely for my own benefit...and it was heavenly. :bassist:

You guys sound great. Too bad the bass doesn't come through on the YouTube video very well.

I agreee the tort on these select Fenders look great, gotta get one for my select. Is it easy to remove the knobs on Sadowsky basses? I wanna remove the knobs to shine the chrome up in that area. Thanks in advance.
