The price is just for the folks that I knew would ask.
And not a bad price, for clarification. Just thankfully more than what I can spend

+1, must be big splits. Big Single will have some hum, even if its only slight.
Listen through a headphone amp, and if they are truly Big Singles, you'll hear hum when you favor one pickup.
I said the same thing back in January! (5th post down) http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f8/sweetest-sadowsky-ever-840807/I think I just saw the prettiest Sadowsky ever.... That top is beautiful.
When are we going to see another Sadowsky Select??
Well, I've had my MV5JJ for quite a good while now.
I've about come to the conclusion that this bass "is pretty much the cat's meow for me."
It's feels good, sounds good, and does pretty much everything I need it to.
It ain't too hard to look at either.
I'm not sure what's gonna leave, but I think it's time to start moving some stuff out.
That's a tagline if I ever saw one!Word. If I had to pick one bass, It would be an Ash/Maple Sadowsky JJ. Others are fun, but sometimes a distraction.

Got new pics to share yet???
As this^^^^ demonstrates, he's also just a real nice guy too.
My band played in Springfield, IL last night and had an awesome show but the highlight of the night was Vic showing up and letting me play #4098 for a whole set. My Bass is pretty awesome in every way but let me tell you that Bass just has a little something special in the high mids. I know exactly why Vic will never sell that Bass. The second best time of the night was watching Vic play a song with my band. Vic always acts very modest about his playing. I want to let you guys in on a secret. Vic can play the *&*^*&%^$ out of a Bass. Thanks Vic for making it a great night.
Simply awesome....got pics or video?

Yeah, at this point, I've played a bunch of Sadowsky basses, and I honestly feel there's a little extra mojo in that one. That's why I was totally comfy having the shop strip the neck and Tru-oil it. I knew I'd never have to worry about impacting resale value. My band played in Springfield, IL last night and had an awesome show but the highlight of the night was Vic showing up and letting me play #4098 for a whole set. Thanks for the amazingly kind words. I'm just glad we finally got to hang out for a while and I finally got to hear your band. Man you guys thump hard, and great selection of popular tunes. You owned the crowd. You can't do any better than that, and you kick some ass on the bass too dude. You were killin' it on "You Oughta' Know".Chef, It sure does. You and Vic are both just top notch in my book.
LOL! I remember that. Too funny.Back to #4098 that bass is just a pure pleasuse to play and to listen to while you are playing it. I have mine set up with the pan reversed and it took me a few songs and a bunch of puzzled looks on my face to realize that Bass is not reverse pan.
Simply awesome....got pics or video?
My bad, too. I shoulda' at least tried to grab a shot or two from my cell of Mike playing my bass.Sure dont Bluesy. I thought about it as Vic was leaving.
