To a point... probably 80%. I have a Lakland DJ4 with Sadowsky HC pups I run thru a Sadowsky outboard and it sounds great... just not the full "Sadowsky sound" experience. Not quite as full and smooth/sweet as a Sadowsky Standard JJ. The next bass I buy will be another one of Rogers.

I saw a 5 string roasted maple necked caramel burst jazz bodied P/J that was pictured in this forum within the past few years that has HAUNTED me ever since...if I ever get the coin together for a build, it'll be that one

My 1996 MIA Fender Jazz Deluxe has now been Sadowskized!!!. I just got it back from Joe Glaser's shop today with a brand new Sad pre and a PLEK job. It plays and sounds fantastic!!!!!

Yep. Expensive, but the man nonetheless. I got to spend some time today inspecting the PLEK machine, and seeing the very specific setting for my bass. It's fascinating stuff. I'll never get another regular fret job again!!!

Just popped a set of Roto 66s onto my spalted monster. I'm looking forward to hearing how they sound. They've done me alright on the Lakland, though I've gone to Slinkys on the PBass. I'm wondering if I should have gone that route for the Standard.

Anyone used either on their Sadowsky JJ?

I've been wanting an RV5PJ for a while but missed all of the used ones that popped up.
Bought a MV5JJ & then MV5PJ to try to fill the void but it wasn't what I really wanted.
Finally got the one I wanted & it's everything I thought it would be!
It's even my first color choice.
