I am using the Sadowsky SBN45B Blue Nickels that came on this bass:

Tonally I like the Sadowsky strings very much. But they seem a bit "springier" than I am used to, though. Somehow a bit more elastic.
Tension-wise, my fingers are most accustomed to Rotosound Swing Bass 66's on a neck-thru Alembic, or the Link Removed. In other words, pretty high tension (or high-tension feeling anyway)
I am considering, based on a strong recommendation from a trusted luthier, trying the Ken Smith Compressors.
Based on all the research I've been able to do here, I think these might accomplish all my sonic and string-feel goals.
Has anyone here tried these on their Sadowsky? Even better their Sadowsky with Soapbars? The B is tapered like the Sadowsky strings - can someone who has used Ken Smith Compressors confirm that these work (length-wise)?
(Hope this isn't too much of a string-specific derail. If it is, PM me and I'll move over to "Strings". But I really wanted to get the Sadowsky-specific viewpoint here.)
