A good guitar tech I have used recently in the UK to set up my sunburst Sadowsky told me that it is one of the best basses he has ever worked on from a build point of view. E.g. the way the neck and fingerboard is made to take tension from the strings into account etc. He finds things in the details of the construction that I would never have noticed! Anyway it's another big thumbs up for the quality levels that Roger and the crew at Sadowsky work to.
I also think it does Roger credit that things like the string retainers are still being improved upon. You wouldn't think there was too much else to improve on a 4 string J bass by now but if anyone can make them better I would back Sadowsky to do it. Love my Sadowskys...

I was looking for some info through my older emails and found out that I got my first Sadowsky exactly 8 years ago today. It was a Metro MV4 from the first batch that arrived in Europe. I remember taking it to a rehearsal on a very cold winter day and right out of the case (after a trip from Germany) it was in tune and ready to go.
What else can I say, thank you Roger, Kevin and everybody at Sadowsky Guitars for the great instruments and your outstanding service, support and I dare to say, friendship. You guys rock! :bassist:
