There must have been something wrong with the P pickup.
No way would a bridge position J have more output than a P.

I know you know WAY MORE than I do Roger and you're probably right. I bought the bass used from Bass Central and maybe the former owner messed with the pups. Not sure. What I do know is, I love the bass!! I've owned Fenders, Laklands, Dingwalls, Modulus, Carvins and the Lord knows what else. They are all great basses, but for me... You basses rule!!! I love the fact that they are bass/treble boost only!! Not a big fan of the overly midrange tone. I've gotten more compliments on my tone over the last few months, than I ever did with the other basses!!:hyper:

Yeah, that's what mine is too. I have to credit Tom for the idea tho... his older NYC PJ5 has that and I totally had to have that myself. Without a figured top, it's not as important to me, but with a figured top, it's the only way to go IMHO.

I should also mention that I've now gone through several stock updates and have not had a single case of GAS since getting my latest one. Between my older MV5 and this 24 fret, I'm just as happy as a pig in s**t any time I'm craving a Sadowsky... which is often :)

I love the vintage spec with burst/tort!!

I also have the narrower 1 3/4 nut and I do like it better.

Although I was sad to see it go, I'm quite pleased that my Metro Will Lee made it to its new owner after some delays with all of the weather last week in the Carolinas.

Now, I must admit that I keep finding myself wondering about that new Jason Newsted model when it is released. I am fully aware that GAS for a bass that has no announced specs is a little ridiculous, but........ :hiding:
