Squaw Valley USA Ski Resort wants to use my song!


I wrote the music and lyrics, played all guitar and bass, recorded and mixed it. I am so stoked! I used my Sadowsky PJ bass for it (solo'd the P pup).

Hi Jim – We love it! I played it for the marketing department and they love it. We’re buried right now, gearing up for the winter but we want to use your song on squaw.com – maybe when you click on a certain page it will play???

Joker, man that bass looks fantastic!
I ordered my fretless last month, it's going to look pretty similar. Mint guard instead of parchment, and a matching headstock are the only cosmetic differences. I can't wait!

i gotta be honest, the only thing i regret about this bass is a matching headstock.

but then i plug it in, and suddenly all is right in the world...

My whole family usually goes to Squaw every year (my uncle owns the River Ranch near Alpine), but this year we won't be able to make it. Great place.

That's a beauty.. I assume it sounds like kind of a cross between a modern24 and a standard Sadowsky J. You know, I think a matching headstock would have made the whole thing too dark, with that dark board and color. The natural headstock 'Fenders' it up a bit, and I think it looks perfect! Nice rig too!

I didn't e-mail with a serious intent to buy, I just saw it and felt compelled to tell them how freakinshly beautiful it is.

Once Im done saving up my ducats, I'm likely ordering its twin.

+1 here. I think the natural headstock looks nice. I have never been a fan of matching headstocks on painted basses. Just my 2 cents...You have an awesome bass!

Yes I did, subject to 7 approval of course (I have high hopes)
I was just about to order the exact same build when, much to my surprise, there it was in the updated list for the 17th!
I had them kick it over to straight singles instead of the HC's and it should arrive next week
