Club Sadowsky!!!

Thanks, guys ! I'm sooo proud to have this bass.
It's funny, I thought I got it for the B string, but in fact, it's the G string above the 8th fret that really sounds better than a lot of other instruments I play.... Who Knew ????

Happy Happy Happy !

Hi! It's taken Waaaaay to long, but finally, I'd like to join with my 2011 Sadowsky NYC Vintage 5 string. I'm loving this bass, 7.5 # of a tone monster, very resonant and a joy to play...

May I have a number, please ???? I also sent a PM (after I read about it)...

Thanks !
Rob

Congrats!!!

I'll take one of those in a 4 string!

Got my first Sadowsky this week!! Slapped on some new sunbeams and this bass sounds killer even with the humcancelling pickups. I prefer single coil but I have another jazz for that.
The only thing the bass might need is the treble and bass stack pot feels a bit funny. No real stoppage point. Maybe loose knob screw? I'll check it out closer this weekend when I'm not working. I do have a brand new Sadowsky pre in a box I can slap on but I like how the original circuit board is painted on and mounted to the body.

I can't say enough about my NYC Ultra Vintage P. Granted I currently am bandless but play it nearly everyday for an hour or more. I've only had to retune about 3 times since July. The stability of this neck is amazing.

I think I have a number from way back but here's my 50th Birthday Sadowsky. Really great sounding bass and I love the looks.

Congrats! This combo is really classy! :bassist:

Can't wait for my block inlays order / matching headstock order after seeing yours. :P

Is this a Sadowsky Vintiquity SCPB in the video below at ~2:00? It's Rickey Minor's bass, and Scott seems to like it.

Went on the Sadowsky site to see if I could find information about it and saw Pino Palladino at the bottom of the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. It looks like his Fiesta Red Fender P in the picture. Does he play a Sadowsky?

Looks like an 'original' P style to me with the single coil in the middle.
