That's a beauty! I thought Roger didn't do matching head stocks with maple boards. Congrats!

I know he is not fond of the aesthetic of the matching head stock and maple board, and may try to convince you out of it, but if you are committed to it he will make it. My foggy recollection, when talking about it for my WL4 (which I didn't end up matching the headstock) was there MAY have been a clause that if you returned the bass in the 7 day period, you would have to pay to get the head stock finish removed to make it more likely to sell. No idea if that is actually the policy though.

Either way, he will do it (which is evidenced by the awesome looking bass above).

Got my first Sadowsky this week!! Slapped on some new sunbeams and this bass sounds killer even with the humcancelling pickups. I prefer single coil but I have another jazz for that.
The only thing the bass might need is the treble and bass stack pot feels a bit funny. No real stoppage point. Maybe loose knob screw? I'll check it out closer this weekend when I'm not working. I do have a brand new Sadowsky pre in a box I can slap on but I like how the original circuit board is painted on and mounted to the body.

Check out the latest Sadowsky to my collection. It arrived around noon last Saturday and I used it on 3 gigs that same weekend. I love it, and so did my sound engineer. It joins my fretted NYC 4 and Metro 5.View attachment 699244
