Hi, I don't own a Sad yet but I'm considering it after trying a MV5 last weekend. But before finally acquiring one
I'd like to know the tonal differences between a Metro MV5-24 and a Metro Modern M5-24?
My main axes since "forever" are my two Fender American Deluxe V. One from 2000 the other one from 2002. But since I tried the Sad, I feel like those basses switched from fantastic to just nice stuff![]()
As a fellow Titan user and without going into a lot of detail, you can get both basses to sound close to each other and have the same tones. The biggest difference to me is the M5-25 is tighter and the attack hits instant is a busy and drop tuned stage mix. It is also more revealing to technique.
The MV5-24 is a bit rounder and forgiving.
JMO, but its hard to get a Sadowsky bass to not work at least better than average at any gig or setting. Add to that, Sadowsky into Mesa amps is pure awesomeness.
