Club Sadowsky!!!

I shielded this one today... really nice burst especially on top of that maple.

Thanks!

Very, Very nice!
Don't think I ever seen one with those colors. Has a unique look which is cool.
Don't think I could keep my sanity waiting on a build so I'm working on getting one already built.

I've seen plenty of the Bora Blue Burst, which is probably the closest thing, on the Sadowsky site, but none with green added.

Ooh! A work of lutherie art, indeed.

Reminds me of the burst Mike Tobias used on his Norm Stockton model.
I sent Peter a picture of a similarly-colored MTD many moons ago.

Got to catch Verdine tonight thrashing on his Sadowsky.

I've spent the last few weeks recording with my Sadowsky. I used it on the first couple of tracks and decided to try the studio's house bass for another track. After a couple of takes, the engineer asked me to try a take with the Sadowsky. Anyone want to guess which one they used? :)

Man, I love that bass.

Doh!!! Give me a minute...

Tried ordering strings a couple weeks ago from Sadowsky, via their website, but forgot about their policy of shipping to same address as billing address. Entered my biz billing info (credit card), but used home address for shipping. So the order got kicked back. However I did get a confirmation email from Sadowsky that my account had been created.

Fast-forward to this morning, I remember I need to order strings - so I go to log in to my Sadowsky account and I get this error message:

Does anyone know what that means? Is it because of the previous failed attempt at ordering? Some type of precautionary measure to avoid fraudulent activity?

I guess I can just call the shop on Monday and sort it all out. But I'm a web-ordering type of guy - I prefer minimal human interaction for purchases like this. :nailbiting:

Just wondered if anyone else has dealt with that error message before?

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I'm thinking the account was created with admin privileges, and of course, you and I don't have them... easy fix to give you permission to your account... for the admin...

I'm an admin. Let me look into this later. Please pm me the login info you are using. This shouldn't happen.

Our website imploded a few months ago and our newly rebuilt site just recently went live. I am sure there will be many bugs we need to work out. Please email us directly if you encounter any issues or links that do not work. Please email [email protected].

Thanks.....Roger

Email [email protected] to ask him about one.

I'll give him a shout, but was going to try avoid hassling them!

Also, have to say... my MV5 is still a joy to play. In fact, it's the only bass i use now. I've had it since June 16 and it's approaching its 100th gig. Plus rehearsals, it's seen hundreds of hours of action.

I've recently switch to Blue Label Nickels and they suit both the bass and me perfectly. Wish I could afford another, but so grateful to have this wonderful tool.

Time to treat her to a new shirt, in the form of a tort guard and we're set.

Never worry about hassling the shop guys. That's that they are there for. And its good for them to know what people want. :)

Hey, that black pick guard looks nice on that natural finish. I might order a black one to give my MV5 an optional look.
Are they a standard cut item or or would I need to send Sadowsky my pick guard?
