That's where I got it from. You played my bass. How was it?

It was fantastic. You are going to love it. I was in the shop talking to them about the new Metro Express models but the one you bought really caught my eye. As good as the the pictures are it looks much better in person, and plays/sounds great too (hey, its a sadowsky).

Might not be the correct forum or thread but what strings would you recommend I put on this beauty? I prefer warmer nickel sounds.

The Sadowsky Blue Label nickels sound great.

Maybe at first but they break in fast for me and are plenty warm for my setup.

Yeah, I like them, too. Just saying. For warm sounding strings, I'd maybe try sunbeams. It all depends, of course.

For sure. I’m actually endorsed by DR now. Sunbeam is a great string I use on one of my fretless basses.

How do you typically like your tension? For lower tension go Blue Label, for higher tension go Black Label. I like my strings to "fight" a little bit and I like a warmer sound, I run Black Label Nickels on mine. A bit zingy out of the pack but they do settle in nicely.

Dunlop super bright nickels, despite their name, are super warm and growly and are perfect on a Sadowsky 5. Better B string than DRs.
