Club Sadowsky!!!

Let me clarify the situation with the MetroExpress dealers in Japan.

I my original post, I was specifically addressing the sellers on eBay. These sellers (for MetroExpress, MetroLine and TYO and NYC) do not have these instruments in their possession. The are quoting you a price for them to go to one of my authorized dealers, purchase the instrument at the normal price, and adding a few hundred to the normal selling price.

I never meant to imply that these instruments are bogus!

On the other hand, my real dealers in Japan did get a first shipment of MetroExpress instruments before I was able to obtain any for the US. This should not have happened, but it did. We are expecting our first shipment in early June.

Hi Roger, @Sadowsky . Yes apologies for asking before the Metro Express even arrive in North America, But...
Any thought of making the Metro Express convertible to PJ? Or, eventually adding some Express PJ's?

Yes, I will be adding a PJ at some point. Dave at Club Bass in Toronto has a pile of Express on order so I will be checking them out when they arrive but I need to add a PJ. Thank you.

So this is the one I have on order...

From what I can tell it looks exactly like the one in this video:

I've never been a fan of white pick guards before, but this combination works so well together that I don't think I'm gonna change out anything. I've been gassing hard ever since I laid eyes on it.

Man, July is gonna be a LOOOOONG wait! drool

Hi StingRaySteve.....

We are still in the earliest stages of rolling out the first model.....it is just too early to think or talk about what we are going to do next.

I can understand this being your current position. For what its worth though I would also throw my support toward the PJ when you are ready to consider the next steps. That said I literally struck up an email thread with Peter about 20 minutes ago about reserving an Express from the 1st batch coming in June. You are likely to get my money twice if you decide to do the PJs at some point in the future.

Please remember that we do have the Verdine White Signature Model available now.

Roger, thanks again for your thoughtful design elements and for including the little truss wheel tool in with the basses I purchased. That is such a nice touch.

I think back to two and a half years ago... I started my search for the ultimate jazz bass. It had to be active/passive with one master volume and one pickup blend, and it had to have a truss rod adjustment wheel. Those points were must-haves, but everything else was open. That is what led me on my path to Sadowsky, literally. It's the little things that make the difference!

Both the Alder/Morado and Ash/Maple Express models will be available in all six colors!

Roger

I know this was a whole page ago but I was busy today,,, but reading what led up to this was like Roger walking in the room, setting it straight and doing a mic drop.
Bam! Looking forward to coming into the shop next week. Last time I saw you Roger was like 25 years ago when you had your little space near 48th st. I figure I should see you every 25 years if I need to or not.

I wanna buy a Sadowsky NYC model, but I’d like to play one first. I live in the UK. What are my options? Anyone want to fly over here with their bass so I can give it a go? I’ll throw in a sandwich to make the deal sweeter.

Invalid Link Removed has just become an official dealer - looks like they have one coming in next month.

Any progress??

:roflmao::laugh::roflmao::D:roflmao:

I already got the ok from the wife so...

I know you just mentioned it was in the planning stages last week, but are you expecting it to have a narrower nut like the WL or will it be standard?

Just curious...
