New Sadowsky model!

Will the Slapmaster have VTC? The ones I see pictured don't seem to have the stacked T/B knob.
Natural/Maple with that bridge and the black pickguard just look so right! I like 20 frets too. Time to get a second job.
No VTC on the Slapmaster.
Thanks for the clarification, however you'll want to ping your webmaster to correct the specs on the SlapMaster page.
I thought youze guys were kidding until I opened the link!New Sadowsky model!

That’s a real nice bass.If you have an Alder/RW NYC P5 or PJ5 and looking for an awesome NYC JJ5 look in the classifieds. A project I am working with does several Motown songs and I need something to slap some flats on and get some funky thump. I am trading this.
Fixing it as we speak!
That’s a real nice bass.
A number of Sadowsky owners in this thread over the years have bounced around this P issue; and I always think it is somewhat a shame when they flip an otherwise nice bass to address that very legit need. There are other options.
For one thing, either the Shop or Pat Wilkins can usually rout the bass to optionally accept a P pickup at fairly reasonable cost; and if you schedule it, you aren’t without the bass for long.
Another option is to replace the JJ pickups with the Delano JMVC’s (require special order for the correct shell size); which have a VERY respectable P vibe on the neck pickup, among other nice characteristics.
Either of those options are typically much more cost effective than flipping an instrument and buying another; though perhaps not as GAS assuaging.![]()
Very True and this one is actually a universal route so that would make it super easy but I have always wanted an Alder/RW P5 or PJ5 preferably one with a P Body. I have another awesome Ash/Maple JJ5 so I am looking for something polar opposite.
