Okay, I was talking about the PJ set on the NYC models. Sorry if that got lost in translation maybe I was confused...I thought the post you were responding to had something to do with the PJ pups. No worries!

Not electronics related but important note: The neck profile is different too. The 4 string is a narrow jazz (1.45 instead of 1.5).

I had a Will Lee Metro. Fantastic bass. I did find that the mid switch wasn't really useful to me. I think that really depends on the player. I just never ended up using it after messing with it a bit (the switch, not the bass). I love the neck. On my NYCV4PJ, I had the shop shave my neck to match a Will Lee profile.

There are two tabs. It seems like one side was wired to the bass with a second wire from the bass to the back of the pickup case. The other tab seems like it's wired to the back of the pickup itself.

Any help would be appreciated. These were in a bass I found at a pawn shop and it looks like someone got experimental with them...

This looks to Lisa and me like a very early Bartolini pickup. I don't think we were the ones to convert it into a soapbar enclosure.

I don't recall if Rich Smith was a part of Club Sadowsky. He lived and gigged in Florida and was a pilot for Jet Blue. Unfortunately, Rich passed away from a heart attack earlier this year. We are selling his basses on behalf of his family. All of them priced to sell.

That he did. Roger, I'm sure you guys selling those basses for them is a small comfort. For non-musicians to have to deal with selling gear of a deceased love one is just not an easy process. Things that lighten the load in such situations make a difference.
