Club Sadowsky!!!

I really enjoy the pictures of the Shop and all the current available Sadowskys. They seem to pop very nicely and provides another view other than the listing photos on the site.

Can we make that an informal rule for this group that anyone who attends the shop take pictures of the wall and post them here? Pretty please?

If I ever get back to NY, you better believe I will get a pic of Roger laughing at all one of my jokes, in person...

... I gotta have proof it's not just his avatar who thinks I'm funny.

lookin good, and mean, Rob. such as "mmm, that brisket looks soooo good, i've gotta get me some".

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I played at an awesome Hawaiian-themed restaurant not too long ago and I swear - that was me half of the set. It was brutal watching and smelling all that killer food go by...

I would also be interested in what kinds of amps and cabs they use to demo their basses. I see an Aguilar DB751 and a Tone Hammer, Ampeg PortaFlex and another Ampeg something.

EDIT: missed the GK 400RB and the Hartke cabs, my '80's setup that I still sometimes drag out to big outdoor gigs. And a Euphonic Audio cabinet with another model Ampeg head. And in the background, the place where they take all the pictures of the new Sadowsky basses and guitars. Very cool! If you have more pics @TolerancEJ please share!

Ha, no brisket on Bourbon Street!! Not sure why I look so “focused” in that one. Granted, I look the same in this one too!!

Gary,

On Bourbon Street, you find yourself thinking:

1. Man, those girls are drunk.

2. Should I get a Lucky Dog after we play (hot dog carts on corners in the city).

3. Man, those guys are drunk.

4. Thank God they have some free beers fir the band, I really don’t want to pay $8 for a Coors.

5. Man, those girls are drunk.

I just picked up Elmon's Modern satin 5/24. I haven't had a chance to share yet. Really like it thus far.

The Modern (5/24) is a model I am dying to try. I've owned (and loved) the Metro JJs and PJs, but I've never had a chance to get my paws on a Modern. No shops within 4 hrs. of me that would ever have one, and I get to NYC about once every 20 years. So...

Someday, when I grow up and have some actual disposable income, I'll pull the trigger on one, sight unseen.

:-/
