Thanks, Sadowsky, for making your pickup logo so subtle instead of hopping on the jumped-waaaaay-past-the-skark trend of contrasting pickup logos.
Some instruments have a headstock logo, a logo repeated on the body of the bass, different brand's logos prominent on pickups, yet another brand's logo on the bridge... and by then I'm blind and probably missing a few more logos. Ultra-gaudy.

Really sad the satin is no longer a NYC bass.
I really wanted a USA NYC.
Just wish I ordered a dark, lake placid blue maple neck 4 string sooner.
I’m heartbroken now.
Was looking to get it for my 50th birthday.
Wanted to take the pilgrimage to Brooklyn , which is an hour away, to see and be where it was made.
The German bass just sucks that experience from me.
I really wanted a USA NYC.

we will still have some stock satins for a while and there is a dark lpb 4 string morado that was added today.
You can still go to the NYC Shop, the German Basses will not start until May or so.
To be fair, a trip to Germany isn’t going to suck... maybe not quite the same, but...

Question for Blue Label Flatwound users.. when do you determine its time for new ones? I play the crap out of mine on my Verdine 5 (3 and 4 hour gigs + all that goes into it), and they seem very stable right now. Do they just stop staying in tune or what? These were my first set... just wondering what to look out for in the future.
