I had a boat for a couple of tours...Its not like that anymore for most of us. Hell more then 2 is a luxury now :thumbsup:

Dang, did anyone see this standard four on the site? I'm not a fan of figured tops, normally like the old custom colors, although I love figured fingerboards. But the flame on this one is so subtile and exquisite. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

As the owner of a number of current and former NYC's, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with the Sadowsky MetroExpress. I'm late to the party and ordered what I expect to be one of the last Japanese-made models direct from Sadowsky. I wanted to catch a 5'r in this price range before they turn production over to Warwick (which I am sure will also be great). Ash body tobacco burst with maple neck. Worth every penny and about 1/3 the price of a decked-out NYC. Sadowsky tone, workmanship and playability through and through. Even signed by some guy named "Roger." :)

Anyway, my two cents. If you are reading this post you may be considering one - either new or used. Not much published out there on these on TB, but winner winner!

Since I got my SA200, I have had no interest in playing any other amp! Congrats and rock it hard! :bassist:

Agreed, I’ve gotten nothing but positive feedback on the sound of my Metro Express.. really curious to see how the new ones from Germany will sound and feel. If they can get close to the Japanese Metro Express they will be an insane deal.
