WOW!!! with the Nordy's its going to be a killer one...
Just picked up this dandy! I had the Big Singles replaced with the SD Soapbars.
I believe I will prefer the 'signature' Sadowsky 24F vibe.
Love the new bass...Just wondering if you could explain why you decided to go with the Sado pu's in favor of the Nordys. Either way she's a beaut and prolly sounds amazing

Hey matt
First I really love the Nordy NJ4 singles in my J bass.
edit: I have not received the bass yet but heard from Kevin that RobL (Dragonbass) already installed the Soaps, and happen to walk by as Rob was testing it out... He said it sounds "magnifico" ...
After doing quite a bit of reading I found that some; maybe quite a few 24F owners; prefer the Soaps while being mounted in the traditional 24F position which both pups are set closer to the bridge giving is a more grindy middy vibe. Some with BS's in that position found them a bit over the top being closer to the bridge etc. I don't know as I never tried the BS's in any bass.
However I also read that just as many 24F owners love the BS's that are mounted in the 60's J bass postion on the Modern 24F, although some found it hard to slap as result of the body being designed for the 24F position as well as the deeper cut aways accommodating the extra frets.
I have both Nordy's and Sad Soapbars, I personally prefer the Nordy's but hey, differnt bass, differnt needs, different taste right?![]()
