They still blow me away everytime I pick them up. I have the Standard 4 on right now and it is just an absolute pleasure to play. I don't what Roger does to make these things so good, but there isn't another 4 string J that comes close IMO.

We got our new vintage strat today and just been pluckin' away with it tonight. Had to take a break and post....those teeny tiny little strings are killing me!!! OUCH! Give me my bass! 
No really. The new guitar is beyond amazing!! The tone just rings on and on and on. So rich and full of life. Impeccable. Impeccable. Impeccable.

I recently picked up my first ash/maple 4 string sadowsky, the most plain jane possible (natural MS4) and am really really digging it. I had mostly had alder/morado and ash/morado 5's before this and I liked them all a lot -- but this is better for me. Set up low with hi-beams, every note on the neck is fat, full, yet clear when I play softly ... and growly and punchy with just the right top in spank when I dig in. A real joy to play, great for all techniques, and killer in the mix.
All the alder body sadowskys I've had also had dead spots, and the ash basses seem way less prone to that. Anybody else notice that?
