Vic, it's a brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and there's an ash body underneath that delicious top.

Yes I am pretty sure about the Schallers. I have them on all my basses and my Comfortt Strapps.
I'd like to be able to use all my straps on all my basses "on the fly"

In what way are the Dunlops better? TBer Toasted suggested the Dunlops too.

I do feel the Dunlops are better, but it's not worth swapping locks out on all basses unless unification is really that critical. If you don't mind dedicating one strap to one lock and one strap to another, you can do what you want.

Thing is, you can get just the buttons from allparts I believe, so it's more about a hassle than an expense if you do choose to switch everything over to Dunlops.

FWIW anyway.
