Club Sadowsky!!!

Could anyone post pictures of a Rosewood rev. PJ5, please.

I havn't found any on the Sadowsky website

I am trying to decide on a P or J body....

I am in the final process of figuring the specs for my PJ5 to be ordered in the next days.

I am not sure about the wood combinations, though.
Alder/Ebony or
Ash/Brazilian Rosewood

It will feature rev. PJ (I am tending towards Nordstrands).
Color combo will be Black with a red tort guard.

I am looking for a bass with a fat pick sound that has enough attack for busy finger funk lines. My MV5 (w. SAD SCs) has the latter but is a bit lacking in the pick department.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Mine is Alder/Brazilian and I wouldn't change it for the world. It has a huge pick sound and very articulate finger style sound.

is that the one from Corner Music in Nashville? if so, I played it when it was there and it is a sweet bass. wish I would have had the cash to bag it. If not, they had one identical to that one there.

Can anyone enlighten us on the tonal difference? BTW; Very, Very Niiice! :hyper:
The idea with the reverse P is to add more focus and bite to the low-end strings and add more low end to the higher strings... supposedly to balance the sound more. Spector has been doing it for years.

Tort's nice on black, but I do love the black/mint combo. It's not really quite as green as it appears in this pic:

My upcoming sadowsky 5 fretless is going to be black and mint.
Congrats on the nice P/J 5! If you went mint, chrome hardware would be nice too...
