Club Sadowsky!!!

I would say no after reading this in the description: "It's chemically treated with lemon oil to condition and enhance the beauty of fretboard woods."

Great for rosewood boards, but I personally wouldn't suggest using lemon oil for cleaning a finished neck or maple fingerboard.

I never knew there was lemon oil in the Gorgomyte. But it must be a very small amount. The primary oil is something different that I can't identify. But I would never use any oily product on a finished maple board.

I just updated and reformatted these galleries. Lots of nice new tops. Also, I never gave Ziracote much thought, but those tops are pretty nice too:

Just a random thought, I've noticed most, if not all, master tops are in J bass shapes. I've never put one of my P basses next to one of my J's to see the size difference but what if someone wanted an ultra vintage P body with one of those tops? Granted I personally wouldn't want to cover up something so beautiful with a pickguard so I'd want either translucent or a pickguard delete if that was possible.

problem with a clear PG in a P-bass is that big-old traditional route. I've seen some interesting alternatives over the years.
True, but lets say it's a Verdine White style with no pickguard on a P body so it would have rear routing. Like I said if that was an option and I'm not sure it is. This is all hypothetical, that's not something that I'd really want, I'm a P bass guy but love the downsized J body and my satin Verdine White is perfect for me.

The outline of the J body is just an overlay. All of our MG tops will fit a J, P or Guitar. There may be an occasional one that won't work for a Single Cut.
