x2. Reassuring to know I'm doing everything as Ellis did except that little tip. I usually use the same trick you mentioned, although I keep a little extra from OEM since I typically like one extra wrap, if possible.

A few shots from last Saturday. As always, my NYC UV PJ4 with Black Label flatwounds sounded amazing.
Looking at the new (German) MetroLine MV5, does this mean they all now gonna have a 3-piece body? Former MIJ ones had only 2-piece bodies, at lease mine has (matched ash grain).
Awesome shots! The black label flats are the best. I have 2 sets left!
Question for those that have owned the Satin series basses. This LTD model says it is a transparent satin? IT looks glossy almost in these pics. Is that just the lighting.
The neck is satin, but yeah, that body looks glossy, for sure.

But the back looks more satin to me. Warwick site says: Whale blue transparant satin.
Limited Edition 2020
Anyone could help? I'm thinkin of upgrade one of my old bass with a 4 knob onboard pre, and found a used 10 years old one, but I noticed that the new Warwick made/distributed series is much cheaper than the "original". Does anyone know about is there any difference, sound, or just building country? THX
Arrived today with FedEx. It's a natural satin with beautiful swampash body. Weight is 3.72 kg / 8.2 lb
Sound is fantastic. I play with the mids "on" and if I want to slap, I play with the mids "off". So it is a bit the other way around. Feels and plays great. Happy, think I have a bass party tonight.
The difference in cost is just the country of manufacture.
