There are two versions of the LTD 2020 Bass.

MasterBuilt LTD 2020 - Trans Whale Blue High Polish finish.
Metro LTD 2020 - Trans Whale Blue Satin finish.

Different neck spec and in price.

yeah I knew that but this is the Metroline version that is supposed to be satin. That is actual pics of the Metroline in Germany right now. It just looks glossier than any satin bass I’ve ever seen.

Question for those that have owned the Satin series basses. This LTD model says it is a transparent satin? IT looks glossy almost in these pics. Is that just the lighting.

Nice! In what position do you like the dip switches?

I use the 500 hz wide setting. Had to fiddle around with the trimpots a bit to get the best out of it. I guess everyone has his own favourite stting with this.

You will need to do some routing to make things fit, as well as a side jack and battery compartment.
You might do better with the Pedal!

Yes, I know, it has active pre (not switchable to passive) with 9V, just like any active Fender, I don't think there'll be any problem with it.

Awesome shots! The black label flats are the best. I have 2 sets left!

I love them. I have tried to find NOS black label flats with no luck. I'm surviving on my last two 'very well used' sets that I swap every now and them to hear which one sounds fresher. Eventually I'll have to go with the Blue Labels.
