They're starting to show up at US retailers too, still can't believe (am impressed by) that price point...
Saw my first one in the US on my Reverb feed today. For me I'd have to get the VTC, I've come so accustomed to it I don't know if I could go without it because I'd love to have the newer ME at the 1k price point.
Just a quick note to thank Roger for always going above and beyond for his customers.
I had an issue with the Will Lee midrange circuit in my bass. The unit was several years old, but Roger quickly Fed-Ex'd a new board out to me that just needed to be wired up. Problem solved within 2 days of running it by him.
And THAT is a big reason why so many of us Sadowsky owners stay Sadowsky owners.

Me too, but even with the 70€ of the vtc it still an impressive price!

I'm ready for a new city to develop into the next music Mecca... sooooooooo tired of all things Nashville. It's the most over-rated place in America. Nothing but cheese and predictability there.
I really don't... and I like today's pop country at about the same level, which ain't much. That town will ride on its history for the rest of time.
And don't "there's more great musicians in this city than in any other blah, blah, blah" me, folks. Believe me, I've spent a lotta time there and know the level of talent of individual musicians in Nashville... but when they're assembled, I barely hear anything decent coming out of that place. And that goes for the garbage county scene... to Jack White... to all the hipsters in East Nashville.
Will another city or region... anywhere... please step up and do something great? The world needs it.

WRT Nashville and the current "country pop"...
1.) Nashville just happens to be where a lot of the budding artists come from these days in country/country-pop, so it makes 100% sense to me that people go down there to start (hopefully) successful careers down there by being seen by the "next big thing".
2.) Don't blame Nashville for what's popular. Maybe it's not the most rewarding thing from an artist's perspective, but if you're talking about budding careers in the music industry serving the popular opinion to be successful and have a decent lifestyle, well, the popular opinion is what it is, and for the last several decades in music, maybe even forever, that's NOT been about the most interesting/challenging music authored. It's always been about the easiest thing the general populous can relate to and enjoy listening to, which is at a MUCH lower level musically than most true musicians. Take it from an old Jazz buff (me)... the "good stuff" is just DAMN hard to sell and succeed with (monetarily, at least). Period.

Yeah, from what I understand, Sadowsky broke through more or less in the studios several years back as an accepted alternative to Fender. Still, it’s a pretty conservative town in that regard.
