Thinking about ordering a tortoiseshell PG when they come back in stock at Warwick.

I am struggling to find a site for replacement pickguards.
The shop no longer offers them.
The sites they reference me to are either now consolidated and no help, or sold out (no longer carry). Trying to avoid a custom shop, but when I looked even some of those places do not encourage confidence.
Open to suggestions.

I'm not known for my stencil work so I'll probably go the "send in the old one" route with Pickguard Planet.
The real question...what color with Lake Placid Blue Metallic?
I'm thinking Aged White Pearl, Solid White Pearl, Clear Mirror, Silver Superflake or Moonstone.

Can't go wrong with white pearl on LPB. classic look. but if you're going for something "out there", I'd go moonstone.

I’ll take a peek at the Mint, but trying to highlight the silver hardware. And the headstock has the gold Sadowsky NYC logo…

That’s a drop in the bucket compared to NYC prices. One percent of a custom bass’s cost. $75. A pickguard makes an outsized visual impression relative to its cost.

Hello Frank and everyone at Sadowsky Club, searched a while for this question of yours, well, happy to announce after 2 years of hard workin, the big band album is out!! My first appearence on a big band album ever... and don't know will be another one... All of bass parts was played on my Modern 5-24 (if I remember correctly)
but as a former trumpet player, it was a huge enjoy and challenge for me, and for the band of course,
check this out, official trailer and presentation by the producer/composer Peter Szendofi my friend and mentor...

Custom pickguards are not cheap, folks. Looking at about $150 for two.

I had several pickguards made by Tony at pickguardian (pickguardian.com). Great quality, perfect fit and reasonable prices starting at around $50 per guard list price. I did have to send him an original as a template.

Thank you, Peter, for posting this. What an adventure! Just on those few short snippets, I could plainly hear that bass of yours cutting through. NICE!
