is sonic blue a solid colour? will it be a solid body with no flashy top?
oh and do they still do the full size bodies for the ultra vintage models?
id like to get on with just the plate under the tone controls but no scratch plate in a solid colour, kind of `jacoeque'
Your a madman JC...I just got back from the Sadowsky shop. As usual, it was a great trip. Three quick points.
1) Roger's customer service is absolutely beyond compare. He and his team are a pleasure to deal with - a true rarity these days.
Roger spent the better part of an hour tweaking one of my basses to get me closer to what I was hearing in my head. He definitely went above and beyond and, to me, that's the kind of stuff that counts.
2) Lisa is wonderful. She did some set-up work on one of my basses and it plays better than I could ever have imagined. It was great to begin with and it came up well beyond where it started.
3) I ordered another Sadowsky.
Roger did the hard sell on me.
Me: "Roger can I try that bass out?"
Roger: "Sure, go right ahead."
Me: "OK, I'll take it."
Sort of... Actually, I'm going custom order so it will be a few months but a bass in the shop was the one that convinced me.

As someone earlier stated, we need more bass porn on the Sadowsky In Stock page. It's been a while.

New stock update should be announced no later than Monday, if not sooner.

So I figured I'd offer my Sadowsky customer service story:
I get a call from Kevin one day asking me to confirm some of the final specs for my bass after about 6 months of a wait. About a week earlier he told me they would be finishing my bass very soon. So I figured he was calling me to tell me my bass was done, right? So Kevin tells me my bass isn't done, that it should be in about a month, and he's just calling to confirm some specs. I was surprised and bummed but confirmed the specs with Kevin none the less. About an hour later I get an email form Kevin telling me he mixed up my order with another person's and yes, my bass was ready! So what's Kevin do? He comps me a Sad strap, t-shirt, and 3 sets of any Sad strings of my choice! That's customer service you don't see much! Oh and what would a post be without a pic?

You know... that's a good question. I like the diamond too. I'll have to contact Kevin again.
