Hi, Does anyone know if the super P and super J will ever be possible on Sadowsky Germany basses?

Wow, the story changed! That said, that pickup looks a lot different than the one I have, so I also wonder if they just designed their own and we're talking two somewhat different things, just named the same. I need more information! LOL

This is what my NYC pickups look like (tho not my bass in this pic):

A quick skim of the tb classifieds show an NYC single cut with the Super J with the side screw mounts, so who knows? One thing that is different is they have housings that are similar to the neck pickup, maybe that’s the key?

Sweetwater has the Metro Express Will Lee model in stock now. It does not have the midrange dip switches. It does have an extra fret and pickups in the Sixties position.

I said it 100 times, and I will say it another 100 times.
These Basses are so unbelievable. If I knew about it I would have jumped on much earlier with a Metro Line Model.

But I can´t decide between a PJ or a JJ (again). And of course I live where I can´t test it.

I think the Metro Express basses are Seventies position.

I never even paid attention to the pickup spacing on my fretless MetroExpress, but I glanced over at it this AM. Can confirm it's 70s spacing.

Would surprise me. 3,6" Pickup spacing on my ME. Google says that is the 60s and >1982 - current spacing.
70s would be 3"

I finally got to play one at my local GC. It was a way overpriced beat up Japanese metro I believe. It blew everything out of the water, I’d never heard a bass sound so good. Through a rumble 40 too

That is a fair price for a Japanese Metro. These were pretty much hand made by luthiers who apprenticed under Roger Sadowsky. It is at the GC that is maybe ten minutes from my house. If I had the cash, I would buy it today. I will definitely make a video of it if is still there this evening.

They actually just got a SRF750 in as well which I've been dying to try, so gonna swing by later and try that. I'll give the Sadowsky another whirl.
