Thanks Michele! Tho I must admit, I cheated. I used a translator. I just couldn't help myself... I wanted to play along with Roger, 'cause I love playing his basses so much. :)

So I've got a mind blowing 24F (ash body, spalted maple top, ebony board), and an incredible PJ5 (alder body, maple top, Brazilian board), and a great JJ5 (ash body, no top, maple board). Next on my list is to someday get into a more ornate JJ5, tho I'll probably have to sell my existing JJ5 to fund it. Preferably, one built by our own dragonbass, and still an ash body with a maple board. I'm not in a position to do that just yet, but I'm keeping my ear to the tracks on stuff coming up. :)

Will do. That bass is really great, tho not totally mint, but man, the tone and playability are just stellar. Thing is, it's "sleeper" status is part of what makes it cool... no figured top, no fancy paint, just a killer bass. :)

Figured tops and fancy paint are pretty, but very few would think they would have anything to do with the way a bass sounds or the way it plays;):p:hiding: Give me a nice chunk of ash, a flatsawn one piece maple neck, slap a guard on it, throw some paint or finish on it, and let's funk!

I just got my new (to me) UV PJ4.

Rob has done a killer setup. The bass plays sooooo smooth with no fret noise at all.

Regarding the one piece body. You guys have to see it to believe it...it has flames all over the place and the grain is simply stunning.

Photos and a review tomorrow.

I've got a bass on order, so I'm relatively GAS-proof, but I did notice the following in stock:

weight 7.60 lbs., with a maple burl on mahogany body. Whoa. :)

Good thing I'm immune to GAS . . .
