Club Sadowsky!!!

Man, I applaud your use of fret buzz for a nice sizzle. IMHO, it's another perfect example of what I think sounds kinda' odd solo, but works so well in a mix... especially for funky stuff. Nice playing too, of course, and you GOTTA love Jamiroquai! :D

Thanks Vic! I love some fret buzz, but only when I can control it. I keep my action just about as low as possible and use my touch to keep it under control.

I love all of the input from everyone. I had no idea that I was using too much eq. I did not realize that everyone used so little of it on their Sadowsky's. I cannot wait to get home now and play around some more. I already have not seen my wife much since I got this bass. Now, I have another great reason to stay down stairs and practice!!! :bassist:

Here's my new bass. Got it yesterday but this is the first chance I've had to take some pics. Loving it!

Ughhh. Why did you have to mention this? That is great news!!! At least 6 months should give my wife enough time to forget about how much I spent on my bass. It will also give me time to save up for WL 5'er!!!!

I smell a candy apple orange, maple board, SC's and a tort guard for this one!!!

Big +1 on that. CAO is just plain sick - I'd love to pull the trigger on that exact bass. Money's tight, tho!

Will have to stick with my Bora Blue for the time being...

I am really, really, really tempted to pick up that Will Lee that's in stock right now. But then again, I am also really, really tempted to order one with a maple burl top as well ...

How is the neck on the Will Lee's? I always like thinner necks, does the 1.45 make that much of a difference?

Thanks

HI

As far as Im concerned, its the best feeling Sadowsky neck Ive owned. According to the shop, everything is the same except for the nut width but it sure feels different to me. I guess because of the taper there, the rest of the next takes on a different character. Effortless, comfy. Also, the cutaway on the bass is awesome. Upper frets are a breeze to play. Go for it
