Club Sadowsky!!!

Hi Guys... anybody install the 500K volume pot into their Metro? If yes... what are your thoughts about the upgrade?

I have, just a couple of weeks ago. The difference is subtle but it's there. To my ears, it sounds a little more present...not present as in brighter, but present as in the signal has to overcome less resistance in its' path from pickups to output. In other words, there's more 'there' there. My bass is an RV4 with Fender flats, so YMMV with other bass and string pairings.

I will officially be joining the club with this beauty next week. I am really excited to see how great these basses are.:hyper::cool:

Best,

I believe it is a Sadowsky branded semi-hard case. I had a Roscoe with a similar case. Pretty nice cases, light but with good protection.

Also, since I am a noob with all things Sadowsky, what is the difference between the Blue Label and Black Label strings?

I used to own that bass, and I tried black stainless on it ... really didn't work for me. Stick with the blue steels on that one IMO, they really work well on it.
