Club Sadowsky!!!

I'm in! After a lot of scouring of Youtube and Talkbass for research purposes I placed an order about a week ago for M3914. Very excited! Will post pics when it arrives!

You know, I went a little sour on quilted maple when I got my current main bass because I got a, er... D-grade top, but I keep seeing really nice tops like that, which make me like it again. I also think that quilt is perfect for that kind of burst.

Love that fretboard, too.

I hear you. When you find the right piece, they are awesome. I also think those bursts scream for quilted tops!

We send the necks to England for the LED installations. I know of no one in the states that does it.

Roger

Hm. Good to know. I'm not convinced that I like them anyway, but everything I think about them is based purely on theory, as I've never seen any in 'person.'

EDIT: Oh, waitaminit. I meant 'find them' as in 'do you like them,' not 'where'd you get those?'

The side LEDs are fantastic for players who need to work in a dark pit.
The front dots are much too Las Vegas for my taste.

Roger

Afraid someone might actually notice you onstage then?

Dude, when you root/five as wicked as I do, the 'notice' part just happens.

:D

No, that was just as example of me typing fewer words than I was thinking. What I mean was that I could definitely get with the side dots if I were playing in the theatre district, I find the *front* dots a little too Steve Vai for my tastes. Especially as I tend to play pubs and smaller venues.
