I'm in. Used but really new killing MV4. My first Sadowsky, I'm overwhelmed by this bass.

Amazing man.
Ok, so my intention here is not to start a flame war. It is just a simple question, but I know it can be touchy![]()
So I know in the metro line(don't know about NYC) Roger does not use reinforcement rods in the neck. I'm just curious on why he does not.
Most likely to help keep the price down. That's clearly a goal on the Metros, but not the NYCs.Amazing man.

YMMV, but every NYC I've ever played has had more of that "alive" feeling to it over the Metro, and I think the fact that the neck is stiffer has something to do with that.I think the question should be why Roger does use reinforcement on the NYC models at all, not why it's not on the Metro line. My Metro's neck is straight as an arrow, much better than other reinforced basses that I have and had.

Of course that's not to say the Metro necks aren't great, because clearly they are... but I do feel the NYC necks are even better.

what I have now!I hope that somebody at the shop is already working on it and not wasting their time posting here![]()

I was mad when I got to the Sadowsky shop, to find out that number 401 had already sold.
I was hoping that the red used P/J NYC they had would still be there.
