Club Sadowsky!!!

Both PG's look great! What matters most is what you like! Congrats on a great bass. One day, when I find the right Sadowsky (MV5 most likely), she will be mine. Oh yes, ... she will be mine.

Just got my new, white pickguard from Roger and the boys the Sadwosky shop today :). Thanks guys, it fits just fine, despite the warnings on the website ;).

It's actually damn near impossible to see the difference between the old and the new one in these pics (although in reality there is a big difference). Basically it had a "mint" guard on when I got it, whereas all of my other non-black pickguard basses have white (or creamy white) guards on :hmm:. This made the MV4 stand out a bit, but not in a good way, IMO :p. So, I changed it for a white one.

Here's the old "mint" p/g:

And here's the new white p/g:

I now expect to see a flood of posts from people who preferred the mint one :D. Never mind, at least this trivial little post has brought this fine thread back to the first page of the BASS GUITARS forum - where it belongs :hyper: !!!

I am waiting for my "new to me" M5 to arrive from Fender32. So I'll be a double Sadowsky Club member. I'll post pics with both my Sads!

True, but that doesn't mean that you can have my Sadowsky Club membership number (which is 32) :smug:. It was fate that I should get allocated my lucky number :) (or maybe it was the bribe I sent , who knows)!? :D

Oh and Gilles, just so that I can give you something to add to your (soon to be relieved) GAS pains, here's a few pictures of your new bass that you haven't seen yet (taken 5 minutes ago) ;):

It's going to seem like a long week, waiting for this to arrive ;).

I'm just curious: Do I qualify for membership, or am I banned from talkbass forever? And you know, if I'm banned is it because I play a six string "short scale" Sadowsky, or because I have a tendency to use a pick?

I'm just curious is all...

Hmmm.......I dunno...........MAYBE.....and if, just IF you do get a number, it may be 666 for having that bastard thing.

:D

Dang that's a nice bass!!!!!!

Mine is nearly identical... Same body and topwood (tho the figuring in it and finish are different on my spalted maple), same weight, etc, except my fingerboard is ebony, but yeah, killer for sure.
