I use a Canon A540. It's nothing special.

The key is using a tripod, with no flash, and a short timer so that my shaky hands are well away from the camera when it takes the picture.

Bartman, that bass is beautiful. Is that fingerboard ebony? It's so dark it looks awesome with that burst. If it's rosewood, it might be the darkest I've ever seen. Absolutely killer...

It's Brazilian rosewood, and it's a darned shame that the grain doesn't show in the pics. It's stunning close up. Maybe I'll try to snap a closeup of the fingerboard some time.

Both of those are stunning! I love that blue color with the quilt. It looks especially nice with a Maple FB. But the caramel burst is rich too. I personally prefer darker Rosewood FB's however.
