Club Sadowsky!!!

I think you might be referring to the Portabag? I think it's optional no-cost, as I recall. I think the zippered rectangular Sadowsky embroidered rigid case is still standard.
My case is neither though, its a hard case - the order form only had two options: Portabag or ultralight case. I have a collection of heavy hard cases and need to get some light bags for my basses as my small apartment can't fit any more hardcases!

Not that the case really matters - I just wanted to clarify as it wasn't the case I had ever seen a Sadowsky guitar in. Maybe they do it for overseas shipping for added protection.

OK...my bass arrived today.

I am speachless.

Well..not really...I just have so much to rave about that I do not know where to start: The brazilian board, the frets, the finish...the sound(s)!
The most perfect (for me) neck profile that I have ever laid hands upon.

:D

Can I join the club now?

Greg

BTW ...Roger built a similar one (PJ5) for me years ago. Loved that bass but, I sold it to pay some bills and have missed it ever since.

I got mine with the Portabag. IMO: The Bag!

Please post a photo of the one you got.

I bet you're right!

HI

Awesome, Greg. I miss that PJ. It was awesome. The neck was especially fantastic on it.

As far as cases go, the NYC's used to come in a form fitted case. I havent seen them being used in about 4 years now.
The new case is the one u got, Mark. I dont use cases. I prefer the portabag he offers

Hey Gilles, it had 24 frets when I sold it to you :smug:, have you had another one added since ;)?

It's funny though, because I often used to type M5-25 as the model number. I think it was because they were the names of two motorways that I used to use a lot when I lived in England :p (the M5 and the M25).

Seems my dislexia is contagious :D.

Enjoy the bass ;).

In this case the additional fret must have come with the VTC...:)
